As a service organization, the training and continued professional  development of Access Bank’s employees is crucial to the continued success of the business. The bank is committed to  developing excellence in employees in order to maintain its  leading status in a competitive and fast-changing industry. Thus, it aims to attract, develop and promote the best talent by creating a supportive environment in which all staff are given the opportunity to learn, develop and grow to achieve their full potential. Access Bank wanted to take its School of Banking  Excellence (SoBE) to an international level creating the foremost training facility of its kind in Africa.

Access Bank required a brand strategy and architecture for the  School of Banking Excellence, the requirement of which was to align with the Access Bank Masterbrand and create a monolithic experience. In line with this, the bank wanted to upgrade its School of Banking Excellence from an erstwhile training school for entry-level graduates, to a world-class training school that incorporates several training programs for an Entry level Training Program (ELTP) and a Middle-Management Program (MMP).
We proposed brand strategy and architecture for the School of Banking Excellence, the requirement of which was to align with the Access Bank Masterbrand and create a monolithic experience.  We further introduced a high-class, premium look and feel to be  employed for the MMP – a look in keeping with the prestige of the course and the partner institution, Wharton Business School.
